Product Description

This 1-3/4" x 3" grey gum rubber tire patch is designed for permanent repairs on radial tires. Engineered with high tensile polyester cords for superior flexibility and strength, this patch ensures long-lasting performance when used with chemical vulcanization cement. A printed bead arrow ensures proper alignment for efficient installation in tread or sidewall areas.

Installation Instructions

  1. Inspect Tire for reparability using tire manufacture or RMA Guidelines. If Repairable , Mark Injury with crayon and carefully remove injuring object.
  2. Probe injury to determine exact size and direction, Removing all debris. Injuries must be within repairable Area and no longer then 1/4" in diameter.
  3. Apply Vulcanizing cement to injury channel and fill with vulcanizing insert. Cut insert flush with the inner liner.
  4. Center Patch over injury, Outline for reference, Clean using buffing solution and inner liner scraper. Mechanically buff repair area to a velvet texture, finally removing all buffing dust.
  5. Apply vulcanizing cement allowing it to DRY THOROUGHLY. Apply repair unit, stitching it down completely, working from the center out.
  6. Remount and inflate tire following all safety guidelines. Carefully inspect repair for leaks and tire for additional leaks or damage using tire manufacturer or RMA Guidelines. if all inspection criteria are met, the tire is ready to be put back into service.
